The municipality of Rotterdam asked the Willem de Kooning Academy to research the possibilities for the use of waste from a creative point of view. Students from the Fashion, Spatial and Product Design departments set to work in an interdisciplinary project to re-use waste. The result was a range of surprising and fun new products, presented at the Expo Circulair in October 2016.
